The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) currently provides policing services to the Municipality of West Nipissing and surrounding area from the Nipissing West OPP Community Policing Office. Previously, the West Nipissing detachment was working out of a temporary facility with limited functionality. The new state-of-the-art facility is fully functional, eliminating the need to rely on neighbouring detachments.
Working alongside Formworks Inc. Architects, we were the civil and structural engineers of record for this 18,200 sq. ft. single-storey OPP detachment that included 3 garage bays, offices, and high security areas such as booking areas, an armory, and holding cells.
