Nestled in the charming community of Innisfil, Ontario, Apogee stands tall as a six-storey condominium development, offering a blend of covered and open-air parking for residents. Prepare to be captivated by the modern design of Apogee, boasting high ceilings in each suite, creating an airy and spacious atmosphere. This exceptional 47,250-sq.ft. condominium houses 56 suites, thoughtfully crafted to meet the needs of the community. Remarkably, 55 of these suites are designed as affordable housing, contributing to the goal of providing accessible living spaces. Thanks to the support of federal and provincial funding, this project has become a reality.
As the proud Structural Engineer of Record, we collaborated closely with the design and construction team, including ISM Architects, Inc., iSPAN Systems, and Wycliff Homes. The building's foundation is firmly rooted in concrete, serving as a solid base for the entire structure. The iSPAN Total Framing System has been employed to create the building's framework, providing strength and stability. Reinforced concrete shearwalls were strategically implemented to shape the elevator shafts and stair walls, enhancing durability and safety and provide lateral load resistance.
