Nestled in the scenic countryside northwest of London, Middlesex County offers a charming rural ambiance that beckons visitors with its delightful shopping and dining experiences. Here, the sense of community runs deep, where friendly nods and warm waves greet you at every turn. In the northern region of Middlesex, the picturesque village of Parkhill awaits, just a stone's throw away from the serene Lake Huron. As the community has flourished and evolved over time, so has the demand for a modern and advanced fire and emergency services center. Thus, the vision for Parkhill Fire & EMS Station was born.
Collaborating closely with the esteemed Architect G. Douglas Vallee Ltd., we proudly served as the Mechanical Engineer of Record for this remarkable project, encompassing a combined firehall and EMS station spanning an impressive 13,100 sq.ft. Our design drawings featured innovative elements, including the option for infloor heating in the ambulance and fire truck bays, ensuring optimal comfort for emergency personnel. Additionally, we implemented a specialized dehumidification system exclusively dedicated to the firefighters' equipment drying rack, prioritizing their safety and well-being. With the collective efforts of all design teams, we embraced the power of collaboration through Revit, enhancing coordination and facilitating collision avoidance, ultimately delivering a seamless and efficient project.
