Introducing The Lighthouse Condominium, a captivating residential masterpiece nestled in the vibrant community of Parry Sound. This extraordinary development comprises five levels, reminiscent of "ship decks," seamlessly blending the convenience of Georgian Bay condominium living with the iconic design elements inspired by the deep v-shaped hull of a Georgian Bay ship. Set against a backdrop of lush greenery and positioned just above the renowned Rotary Fitness Trail, the building offers breathtaking west-facing elevations that overlook the majestic Big Sound of Georgian Bay.
As the Structural Engineer of Record, we had the privilege of collaborating with renowned partners Greystone Project Management and Duncan Ross Architects to bring this visionary project to life. The result is a remarkable five-storey condominium building spanning 77,400 square feet, featuring two levels of underground parking and three levels dedicated to luxurious condominiums. The building's super-structure boasts pre-cast concrete floors and roof, supported by insulated concrete (ICF) walls and reinforced cast-in-place concrete foundation walls and footings. The lateral stability of the structure is ensured by robust cast-in-place concrete elevator and stairwells.
